About Me

Hi, I'm so glad you're here. I'm Hannah, a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. I work with adults who are seeking support, clarity, and space to reconnect with themselves, especially during life’s more overwhelming or uncertain moments.
My Path Into Counselling
Before becoming a therapist, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, with a minor in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University. Later, I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University, following my growing passion for mental health and emotional well-being.

My work is rooted in a deep belief in the strength and resilience that each person carries, even during life’s hardest seasons. I’ve seen how powerful it can be to simply feel heard and understood, and I’m committed to offering that kind of space in my practice.

How I Work
I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

My approach is collaborative, I don’t see myself as the expert on you. Instead, I walk alongside you, helping you tap into your strengths, navigate challenges, and develop practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change.

In our work together, I focus on cultivating self-compassion, resilience, and a sense of personal agency. While I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, and ACT, I tailor each session to what feels most helpful for you.
