Fees & Insurance
Session Fees
Individual counselling sessions include dedicated time for both conversation and clinical note-taking.
Please note that sessions are booked as 60- or 90-minute appointments to allow for this. The note-taking portion occurs during the last 10–15 minutes of the session time.
Sessions are priced as follows:

Initial Consultation (15 minutes): Free

A 60-minute appointment, includes 50 minutes of talking plus 10 minutes for note-taking - $175
-
A 90-minute appointment includes 75 minutes of talking plus 15 minutes for note-taking - $262.50
​
Other session lengths can be discussed and priced accordingly.
Insurance & Direct Billing Info
Counselling sessions with a Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) may be covered under your private health insurance plan. Coverage can vary depending on your provider and plan details, so I always recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm your eligibility.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. To respect both your time and mine, I ask for the following:

Notice Period: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. This allows me the opportunity to offer the appointment slot to another client.

How to Cancel or Reschedule: You can cancel or reschedule by contacting me via e-mail at hannah@beyondtraumatherapy.ca. Please do so as soon as you know you won’t be able to attend.

Email Monitoring: Please note that emails are not monitored after 5 PM on Fridays until Monday morning. To cancel or reschedule appointments booked for Monday, please ensure you notify me by Friday at 5 PM to avoid a cancellation fee.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations and no shows (missed appointments without any notice) made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

Exceptions: I understand emergencies happen. If you experience an unforeseen emergency or illness, please let me know as soon as possible. Fees may be waived at my discretion.

This policy helps ensure that I can manage my schedule effectively and offer timely support to all clients.
